Small kitchens can have a ton of personality — often more so than large kitchens. That's exactly the case with Caitlin's small and stylish Echo Park kitchen!
The small space has a ton of old world character that most LA area homes exude. The original cabinetry with glass doors add so much charm to the space and create an inviting environment. The addition of the charming light fixtures really adds to the old world charm.
Wooden countertops aren't something you see everyday and that's another great feature of an '20's Southern California home. Caitlin expanded the style of the kitchen into the dining area through the use of older rustic materials and wall art.

Straw Mat from The ...

This is one of my favorite kitchens I've seen on here. Probably because I love wood or butcherblock countertops more than any other kind. And overall it's sweet-but-not-cutesy and clean and welcoming.
I agree that the wood counter top makes the kitchen so warm and appealing. As a small kitchen owner myself, I wish there were photos to show how and where the refrigerator sits.
What model range is that? Looks like something I have been looking for!
The wood counter is gorgeous, but I love the raised dishwasher. Not such a pain to get dishes in and out!
I hail from the frozen North, so that tropical foliage outside the window is my favorite:)
The rest is lovely, too, second the raised dishwasher love.
