We used to live a paper towel-less life. But then became parents. It still takes us a long time to use up a whole roll, but we do have them in the house these days. That's why we like this out-of-the-way-but-handy solution to storing them:
This isn't for the few-drawered kitchens out there, as it requires removing a valuable drawer and replacing it with a paper towel holder. But for those lucky few who have an underused drawer and desire an easily-accessed, subtle location for paper towels, this is a neat idea.

I'm having premonitions of children grabbing and running... but I like the neatness of it. I like a clear counter.
I would have loved this as a kid...always had to pull up the step-stool to get paper towels to clean up my klutzy messes
At least buy the recycled paper towels. It's kind of ironic when people say their kids make them too busy to be eco-friendly when it's the kid's future that is in danger.
Nah. Too easy. We store paper towels in an inconvenient location and buy recycled brown ones. Makes the other options more attractive.
