Budget Alternative to Jonathan Adler's Ojai Dinnerware?

Q: I love the Ojai dinnerware from Jonathan Adler, and am looking for something similar (white on the bottom/exterior, bright and simple face/interior).

I can't find anything other than the Ojai, which is out of my budget. Any suggestions?

• Brio Blue (and Green Dinnerware, $19.95 for a place setting at Crate & Barrel
• Petal green dinnerware, $5.95 for a dinner plate at CB2.

Also, do note that there's a sale on right now at Jonathan Adler; the Ojai dinnerware is significantly discounted.

If you live near a good Chinatown, they always have inexpensive and interesting dishes. Perhaps you'll get lucky and find something similar ....

This may be kind of corny - but maybe you could try making your own at one of those Color Me Mine type places? They have rice bowls that are similar in shape to the Adler ones.
