Brunch casseroles like this lemon brioche strata are terribly convenient and easy to bake up for a crowd. But serving them requires plates and forks, and this isn't always optimal for a stand-up brunch party, like a baby or wedding shower. Or, why not serve little slices of brunch casserole in muffin cups?
These little bites of brunch strata were perfect, served in these muffin cups. It was easy for my guests to eat them right out of the paper cup, without fork or spoon. You could easily do this with warm or chilled egg casserole as well, or with a baked frittata.
Muffin cups are so fabulous for little party bites like these; they're also good for serving individual portions of candy or nuts.
Anyone ever tried this for a party?
