Swoon, LOVE brown butter. For savory it goes esp. well with sage, per the above-listed pasta recipe. But I love it best in sweets. Smitten Kitchen has a couple of great recipes: a brown butter shortbread crumble bar (the recipe has sliced peaches in it, I usually do it with thinly sliced pear); and salted brown butter rice crispie treats!! I love those with pumpkin pie spice. Mmmmm...
