It's that time of the year: time to break out your best sprinkles, stock up on butter, and organize the cookie cutter bin. Time to prioritize your cookie recipes, negotiating between the traditional and new. And on that note, may we suggest a cookie that's caught our eye lately? Meet Christmas in a Cookie.
Melissa Coleman of the beautiful blog, The Faux Martha, created a cookie that has Christmas written all over it. It's a chocolate sandwich cookie with a white chocolate peppermint ganache sprinkled with crushed candy canes. Of the recipe, Coleman says "I think, if Christmas were a cookie, it would taste something like this." We can't wait to see for ourselves.
