Breakfast can be the most fun meal of the day. Everyone is up and getting ready before school and work, and food tastes especially fabulous first thing in the morning. No matter what we choose to serve up, there always seems to be toast on the table. Why not make it fun?

We came across these Pop Art Toasters and thought they were interesting. We've seen similar options in our local Urban Outfitters — but they usually burned the Virgin Mary or some obscenity into the toast (ahem). But Pop Art Toasters do things a little more PC and we think they can be really great. (Valentine's messages, anyone?)
The Pop Art Toaster is a retro style toaster with removable slides that toast messages and shapes onto toast. The themes range from holiday, princess, love, morning coffee, etc. If you're looking to ditch your plastic toaster, Pop Art Toaster also carries these gems in chrome for an even more retro look. If you make more than just toast for breakfast (or lunch) a 5-in-1 Tasty Baker and Sandwich Maker are also available. We think these toasters would make a great addition to a household with children. What a fun after school snack!

What do you mean, for children? My boyfriend has one. Our toast has teacups and smiling suns on them! :)
These look really cute, but I don't think the toast looks any good. It looks just like bread on the outside, and then way to dark in the pattern. It might be useful if you could use it as a normal toaster most of the time, and slip the patterned plate in as a surprise, but I wouldn't get one that only made this kind of toast.
I have a Mickey Mouse one of these. To remark on Jennybeen's comment, one side of the bread is all toasted - no picture so you still get crunchy toast. And you can take out the stencils for plain toasting. This toaster has it all! The pink one is really cute!
