
Your mother told you not to play with your food, but she probably didn't know about the Makey Makey, a piece of equipment that can turn almost anything into a keyboard key — even a banana. Don't believe us? See it in action below!
The Makey Makey is a circuit board that connects to your computer and any object that conducts even a small amount of electricity. With the help of a piano keyboard program running on your computer, the object becomes like a keyboard key, allowing you to "play" the object like a piano.
And the fun doesn't stop at bananas. The musician Jonathan Dagan (also known as J.Viewz) plays an entire cover of a Massive Attack song on strawberries, kiwis, eggplant, carrots and grapes (love the grapes!) in this video.
