It's still the first month of the year and many of us are on newfound health kicks! If you're still going strong — good for you! And an easy way to incorporate healthy food into your diet is by blending it all together into a delicious smoothie.
Instead of the plain old boring strawberry and orange smoothie (even though those are seriously delicious), have you thought about the wonders of a Spiced Oatmeal Smoothie like the one from Kitchen Konfidence? It's still chilly in most parts of the country and these flavors will bring the warmth right in.
If you're craving a bit of the tropics, the Basil, Lime and Mango Smoothies from Healthful Pursuit should definitely do the trick! Full of delicious citrus flavors and a surprise visit from basil — this will certainly add some flavor to that boring ol' midday snack.

Thanks for the mention! That Basil, Lime and Mango smoothie is looking pretty darn good as well.

I actually didn't replace my blender when it died. It was huge, and I was going through one every year or so due to my smoothie addiction. Instead I started making smoothies with my immersion blender. I don't make smoothies with ice, because my immersion blender can't handle it, but frozen fruit works great.
The oatmeal smoothie and papaya smoothie looks amazing. I rarely ever buy papaya and need to do so ASAP. I also love adding/sneaking in veggies!
I make a Kale and berry smoothie right now it just has kale that I washed and cut that has been frozen, I make it with Coconut water if I have it available and add a fresh banana, a cored apple skin and all, and frozen strawberries, depends on the taste of it but maybe half a pack of truvia to sweeten, best way to get veggies in right away in the morning.
