Here's a lovely vintage kitchen from Mission Dolores, San Francisco — we love the color of this kitchen, as well as its vintage details. The owner, Blythe, is a designer who has worked extensively on restaurant interiors, so she is an expert at making a cook's space both beautiful and functional!
Blythe says that she is inspired by an "urban gypsy" aesthetic. She says to "create space out of things you adore," and to enjoy the eclecticism that comes from objects and colors accumulated through life experiences. In her kitchen she has put a lot of the care and thoughtfulness she values so highly into the colors and the small details she displays. She has her grandmother's mermaid platter on display, and stones she picked up in her travels.
We love the softness of the color and the light in the kitchen, and all those vintage details. It looks like a great place to cook!

BEAUTIFUL! I love that green colour, and it's a nice bright space with funky vintage stuff (love that stove!).
I LOVE the decor...so down to earth and "real". The kitchen also has a great layout and wonderful workspace for the serious home cook! This is the best kitchen I have seen on AT in a while. Bravo!
Nice but the bottles on top of the refrigerator would drive me nuts and also make the product turn rancid quicker.
this is my dram kitchen - i love it. great colors and details. so bright and airy i would be in it all day.
Beautiful!! Wonderful color...and I like the combo of open and 'closed' shelving. There is no range hood...how would one get around that?
Oh, lovely kitchen- a clean, soothing color scheme! I want to cook in it...

Beautiful and functional!
This reminds me so much of my own kitchen! I picked out a very similar colour for mine, but I rent and the landlord doesn't allow painting. So pretty!
