Blogging NPR: Summer Eating and Apricots

NPR asked their listeners to tell them their summer food stories - what foods mean "summer" to their listeners? (See our own poll here.) Yesterday they featured a few answers, which included pesto, melons, and fresh jam from gobs of apricots gathered in Utah's Capitol Reef National Park.
