Here is the biggest news to come out of the Home + Housewares show this year: Dansk Kobenstyle cookware is coming back! It won't just be a vintage find anymore — this classic line of cookware is coming back into production in most of its gorgeous colors.
We are such huge fans of Dansk Kobenstyle, a vintage line of cookware designed by Jens Quistgaard. This cookware is enamel, and really terrific to cook with — not to mention totally stylish.
The line is coming back into production in its white, red, and blue colorways, and it will be initially available at Crate & Barrel. See a few more details at my colleague Janel's report from the show:

I finally got rid of the awful Dansk enameled pot I had for years. Bought in in C&B or PB years ago. It got nasty in pretty short order. Give me some nice All Clad any day.
My grandma (now 85) has had one of these for ever... every family meeting she makes an amazing abalone salad and serves it in it. It is a very coveted item in our family and seeing it today here made my day!
Love this! I hope they bring back the lime green and turquoise colors!
My mother had this in turquoise back in the sixties. As I recall, it wasn't very heavy, so it's probably not as good for braising as some other brands.
This made me laugh out loud! I just got rid of my grandma's old turquoise Kobenstyle dutch oven on eBay a couple months ago -- my boyfriend once referred to it as the "ugliest pot [he had] ever seen." The pot wasn't quite heavy enough for my liking, and the style of the lid made it very difficult to grab . . . really a confounding piece of design.
Sexist enemal cookware on the planet!
