Q: I received this jar of black truffle finishing salt for Christmas. What foods or dishes are good to add it to? Suggestions please!

Editor: Brenna, truffle salt is good on a lot of things. Try it on popcorn and potatoes, or just on bread and butter. I love it on this sweet corn risotto. Also, take a look at this older post for some good ideas, too.
Readers, what else would you suggest?

I love it on popcorn, with butter, black pepper, and Parmiggiano cheese. Last night I made white pizza: Fontina, mushrooms, an egg added at the end of the bake until the white is set, with the yolk spread over the pie, and finished with truffle salt. It was awesome.
Truffle salt is like natural MSG. The flavor of anything you add it to will be magnified tenfold. Use as a finishing salt on grilled meats, melted cheeses, eggs; lobster, caviar, fois gras--for luxe applications, pasta dishes, cream sauces, and herbs such as tarragon, basil and arugula.
Take a radish, dip in a bit of soft butter, dip in truffle salt, eat! Perfect appetizer, or an indulgent lunch!
Roast chicken, and eggs are my go to, but I've taken to putting it on top of caprese salad as well. So good!
Ditto to all of the above, I love a simple breakfast of truffle scrambled eggs on toast or a snack of truffled popcorn. Another favorite is adding it to deviled eggs, just be careful as you don't need much.
And if you are adventurous, we have enjoyed a sprinkle on an extra dark chocolate cookie, for a salty, sweet indulgence.
Also just remembered, we've enjoyed it on french fries, potato pancakes and on corn on the cob....pretty much anywhere a kick of salt works, this should work.
a light sprinkling on some baked mac and cheese, scrambled eggs, baked potato
My husband makes a delicious truffled egg pasta- It's basically some tagliatelle, and sauteed mushrooms tossed in olive oil and truffle salt, topped with a poached egg (or two!) and a grating of parmesan cheese. Very rich, but incredibly velvety and delicious...
Exactly like this!

You'll start salivating before your first bite.
Eggs (any style, though french style eggs are heaven)... avocados, in hollaindaise
Thanks everyone for your feedback!

i use it on a grilled steak or anything that has regular mushrooms in it.
i've also used it to bring deviled eggs to a whole new level.
I usually never think of using it on anything but mashed potatoes--thanks for these great ideas.
When I want to get fancy with truffle salt I make hamburgers. I like to add the salt as a finish then top it with grilled mushrooms and truffle cheese that I usually find at Trader Joe's SO Good!
