We've all seen these little niches in older homes. They can look really dated, reminding us of something right out of grandma's house. But those same niches can be chic and cool with the right treatment. Like this:
This niche Viv of Ish & Chi's kitchen started as an all white built-in that was cozy and cute but wasn't really a standout. After the wallpaper job, the niche is perfect for displaying a collection of white dishes in all of their glory. Set off against a blue print background, the dishes don't get lost but instead stand out. And the niche itself is a little splash of color in an otherwise sleek, white kitchen.
Imagine how little wallpaper this would take. You could splurge on something really fancy or even use remnants from another project.
