Here is a very unique before and after from a reader named Carrie. She found this antique flour sifter in her cupboard — and she repurposed it in a very clever way! Read on to see it in the context of her kitchen!
Here's what Carrie says:
Our house was built in the 30's, and this flour sifter was installed inside the cabinet. It folded down, and there was also a pullout cutting board. When we renovated our kitchen, we really wanted to figure out a way to incorporate it into our design. So we put it above our sink and had a lighting fixture made out of it! We love it and love keeping it as part of our kitchen.
What an interesting project, and what a great way to keep something of the old in a newly renovated kitchen. Thanks so much for sharing, Carrie!
