Beautiful, do they work well?
nifty idea
Madame P, that's my question.
I'd like to know if they hold up during real cooking, and how to clean them properly. That sliding mechanism seems to be a wonderful place for gunk to hide.
I'm pretty sure America's Test Kitchen just reviewed these on a fairly recent episode and said that while they were a good idea in theory, they didn't perform well. The ring kept sliding down during whisking and it wasn't sturdy enough to whip cream by hand (not that many of us do that, but you get it).
I have a Chinese slotted spoon which I use for sponge fluffy preparations like sponge cakes waffled cupcakes souffles etc.It is more suitable at these stuff. It leaves no lumps in the batter.
