Yesterday we took a walk through the Civic Center so we could get a sneak peek at the progress of the Slow Food Nation Victory Garden that was installed earlier this month. The garden demonstrates the potential of a local agriculture practice providing a platform for Bay Area urban gardening organizations to meet and connect, all while growing and harvesting high quality food for those in need.

Thanks for the update. I hope the garden stays after Slow Food Nation. Lawns are useless!
