I'm pacing the miles (literally miles!) of aisles in Chicago's McCormick Place today and tomorrow, scanning the thousands of products on display at the Home & Housewares Show. Nearly everyone who makes or sells something for the kitchen and the home is here this week, and while there is a lot of useless stuff on display, it's also a pleasure to check out quality products in person. Here's one great product: An update to Chicago Metallic's high-quality toaster oven bakeware line.
We've mentioned Chicago Metallic's toaster oven bakeware in the past. Toaster ovens are such a boon to small kitchens. Some urban cooks do away with full-sized ovens completely, relying on their toaster ovens for small batches of cookies, muffins, and roast chicken breasts.
But bakeware for the toaster oven has lagged sadly behind the high-quality, high-powered countertop ovens available today. That's why I really like this stuff from Chicago Metallic. It's not the flimsy, buckle-in-a-moment stuff that came with your toaster oven. It feels very heavy and substantial, made with the same materials and quality of their full-sized pieces.
Their muffin pan was familiar, but I believe that the mini-muffin pan is new this year. If you do a lot of cooking in your toaster oven, consider these pans.
Do you bake in your toaster oven? If so, what's your favorite thing to cook in it?

Do they come in sizes for larger toaster ovens? I've got a big toaster oven which I love, but all the toaster oven pans are tiny and I've ended up using round cake pans to get something more the size I need for my toaster oven.
I'm so jealous. Enjoy yourself, and please post lots of pictures! :)
I got a toaster oven a couple months ago and LOVE it. I use it for everything I can. I'm excited to use it this summer so I don't have to heat up the big oven and the entire house in the process. The toaster oven is great for reheating things such as pizza and pot pie. They taste so much better reheated in the toaster oven than in the microwave.
I have their set of t.o. bakeware and love it, so glad to see that this is a growth area!
