Autumnal Fruits on Display

With Halloween just behind us and Thanksgiving a little way down the road, let's take a look at a way to decorate seasonally without a nod toward a specific holiday (i.e. without Jack-O-Lanterns or turkeys). One way is with the beautiful seasonal fruit available right now:Simply placed in a bowl, fresh local pears or beautiful darkening pomegranates bring a little autumn indoors and are a delicious snack, too! I just picked some pears from the pear trees growing on the nearby university grounds and have them in a plate at the center of the dining table. They bring a little bit of that fall feeling indoors without an overt holiday theme.

Are you enjoying the taste and appearance of fall fruits during this breather before the holidays? Let us know how below!
