Kiwi's are one of my all time favorite fruit. They're the perfect combination of sweet and sour and the tiny seeds provide a subtle crunch that keeps me coming back for more. Of course, I love eating them immediately after removing the peel — but, they're also delicious when introduced to other foods.
I've had plenty of cocktails in my life (lychee martinis are delicious and yes, I consider cocktails to be desserts) but I've honestly never even thought of using kiwi in one, until I came across the recipe for the Grey Goose Dublin Delight from Food Beast. I definitely won't be waiting for St. Patrick's day to whip that delight up!
If you're looking to warm up the house that now the temperatures are falling, try the Lemon Kiwi Fruit Cupcakes from Couture Cupcakes. Lemon, kiwi and strawberry sounds like an excellent combination — especially baked into a cupcake with frosting on top! Here are some other interesting kiwi desserts to try this Autumn:

my kids love kiwis. but they call them kiweeds, which I find hysterical. they're a lunchbox staple
Easy way to eat a kiwi: cut in half and just scoop out the fruit with a spoon. Much easier than peeling.
Are you not suppose to eat the peel? I always ate the fruit whole, peel and all!
