Apple Honey Pot for Rosh Hashanah

Speaking of kitchen treasures and Rosh Hashanah, here is one more beautiful honey pot to add to the list.

We've been holding onto this honey pot, saving it for the High Holidays. We think it's very beautiful - a small treasure.

The pot is handmade by an artisan in Israel. She shaped it like an apple in a lovely nod to the apples and honey of Rosh Hashanah. It's decorated with intricate sterling silver, and there is a tiny silver bee hanging from the stopper. A beautiful holiday gift, or a present for someone who really, really loves honey.
