Craftsman homes are one of our favorite types of home. They are so filled with character and they're extremely sought after. It's not very often that you find a craftsman that has been remodeled in such a modern way — much to our surprise, we really like it!
Fully resorting a house to its original potential isn't always in the cards, and certainly isn't everyones cup of tea. In this case, Anthony and Gregory wanted to bring their 1912 craftsman into the contemporary category — and that they did!
The kitchen isn't anything you'd typically see in a restored craftsman, and that's ok. They chose tall, slim and sleek cabinets with pops of color in the backsplash. The pale blue really accents the dark wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Each color was purposefully chosen and successfully work together.
They managed to get sufficient counter space out of a rather small space and that's certainly commendable. We also love that they were able to configure room for all of the modern day appliances, specifically a dishwasher!
