Our apologies if you prefer cannolis or gelato. Our favorite Italian dessert is - and always will be - tiramisu. We love the classic espresso-and-ladyfingers version, of course. But have you ever had tiramisu with strawberries? Or made one with beer?!
• 1. Amaretti Tiramisu from Gourmet - Nutty amaretti are a great alternative to lady fingers.
• 2. Beeramisu from 101 Cookbooks - A shot of porter stands with the coffee in this version.
• 3. Limoncello Tiramisu from Epicurious - This sounds so refreshing!
• 4. Creamy Strawberry Moscato Torte from the New York Times - Melissa Clark’s wine-y twist on tiramisu.
• 5. Tiramisu Cupcakes from Martha Stewart - Drenched in coffee syrup and topped with marscarpone frosting. Yum.
• 6. Individual Tiramisu Cups from David Lebovitz - Perfect for a party. Or portion control?
• 7. Best Tiramisu from Jamie Oliver - And finally, the classic tiramisu for all you die-hard fans out there.
What’s your favorite version of tiramisu?

Caramelized Pineapple Tiramisu! I can eat pans of this stuff. My only changes are more pineapple and in the coffee/tea mixture, I like to add more tea and less coffee.

@seldomyes- I never use alcohol because my kids love, love this stuff and it really doesn't need it. Just use strong espresso.

omg i love tiramisu - I could just roll around in it
I know people will be clenching their chests and telling Elizabeth "It's the big one" but my favorite tiramisu recipe uses...wait for it....TWINKIES!!!!
It was featured in the "Guilty Pleasures" episode on George Duran's "Ham on the Street" Food Network show. I loved the fun twist.
I've made it for various events and have put up a bottle of chianti to anyone who can guess the "secret ingredient." I still have the bottle of chianti.
To "Seldomeys" there is no alchohol in this recipe.

I've made it for Thanksgiving for the past two years in lieu of pumpkin pie. It's a hit! RICH/SIMPLE & dreamy.
Try spreading cocoa powder on top of everything before adding the next layer! Gives you the best chocolate-espresso-experience ever!!!
