If you like to whip up a pot of quinoa, millet, or brown rice for weeknight suppers, then we have just the infographic for you. Print this out — put it on your fridge, and you'll have the right ratios of grain to water right in front of you.
This great little chart is from the folks at Good Eggs (we mentioned them last week). If you know the basic method to cooking grains (boil water, add grain, lower to a simmer and cover the pot until the grain absorbs all the moisture) then these water-to-grain ratios are all you need.

this is great! my only comment is that quinoa is technically a seed, not a grain. oh well!
Love the typography here!!
Molly Katzen also has similarly helpful and cute charts in at least 1 of her cookbooks (The Broccoli Forest) for both beans and grains/seeds :)
That's ok. Millet is a seed too.
I love little art-sy, font-sy, charts like this.
oo! didn't know that.
I need to frame this and put it up in my kitchen! I am forever double-checking these ratios. Thank you!
I'm totally posting this on my fridge. So helpful -- thank you!
I don't know about infographics like this - my favorite medium grain jasmine rice is 1 cup to 12 fl oz of water, and the brand of farro I prefer is exactly the same. It really varies from brand to brand.
