When you open the doors under your kitchen sink, what do you see? I have an old plastic bin of cleaning supplies and a few other random things thrown in back. I am very inspired, though, to get this dark cave cleaned up and organized thanks to Jen at IHeart Organizing — take a look at what she did to her own under-sink area!
Jen added a few new things that really cleaned up this area. She put in some stacking drawers that hold fresh sponges and clean dishtowels — so smart, since these drawers stack vertically and let you pack in more.
She also hung her dish gloves on the inside of a door, and put in a caddy that holds all her basic cleaning supplies. So smart!

Organization is a beauuutiful thing
This is great! In our tiny kitchen, though, we keep our baking sheets on one side and a crate of cleaning supplies on the other. I do however keep my cleaning products to a minimum (I make my own from things I already have) so at least I don't have too much stuff under there!
What does it look lke under my sink? I don't know. Ever since I had to set a mouse trap under there, I refuse to look. I would rather, in a gripping blow to feminism, make my husband look.
I'm in the process of redoing mine, and I'm going to put in a recycling center. In my community I have four kinds of garbage (glass/plastic, paper, city compost, garbage, plus my own compost). So I'm putting in two slide-out waste containers, each with two bins. My compost goes in an empty ice cream tub in the freezer.
Unfortunately that leaves not much room for anything else.
Wait, there are Command clips? Whoa. This is a good lower cabinet reorg and I really like the clear plastic drawers. My under sink cabinet is in good shape but could use some rearranging to move out the stuff I use infrequently or not at all. I have tons of dishwasher tablets and liquid cleaner yet I never use the dishwasher. I use paper towels as dish towels and rags, and yeah, I need a better solution.
