This light and airy kitchen was designed by acclaimed French designer and interior architect Andree Putman. We love the slanted glass roof and the feeling of being so close to the outdoors. And who wouldn't love those vintage French cane chairs? See another photo below:

Isn't that oblong marble table divine? This is what dreams are made of.

those windows!!! gorgeous!
Ya so true,..:)!
oh my those windows. but i feel like it would get very hot?
Wow, totally drooling! Can I please be transported there, and have a fresh croissant and a cup of coffee waiting for me on that table?
Oh gosh. I wouldn't have any workspace left with beautiful windows like that. Everything would be covered in plants.
Those chairs are so so cute!
Ah, sigh, Paris in Spring! But Paris in winter is cold, dreary and drafty. And Paris in summer means "La Canicule," the insufferable heat that kills the aged living in non air-conditioned attics and small apartments and is a national scandal.
Mlle Putman, as well heeled as she is, can overcome these realities, but as cute as it is, this is no "dream" kitchen.
The window panels are gorgeous! Not only is this very french feeling, it almost has a greenhouse vibe. Loving it!
I love those cane chairs. One of the comments on this post is the best thing I have seen today.
dreammmm.. i love her work always chic. I heard her speak in 1989 she is utterly cool.
Wow! I love that table.....can you tell me where it comes from? It would be perfect in my new kitchen!
.....or something similar since that table is probably well out of my price range!!
What a beautiful place!
The chairs are by Thonet. The most popular cafe chair model in need of a little tlc can be found inexpensively. However, the chairs in this kitchen were not produced in such large quantities, so they are much more expensive.
With shading it should be ok in summer, but would't the windows get all greasy from the inside from cooking and frying? Anyway, I'd love a kitchen like that!
