Could you fit your whole kitchen in one pot? No, we can't either. So we're quite fascinated by this clever cookset that is designed to all fit inside one lightweight pot.
This set is designed for campers, of course; it's a set made for people who have to carry their whole kitchen on their backs. But it also seems like a fabulous set for people who need a small set of kitchen things for the dorm, the weekend cabin, or the temporary housing.
Nearly all the big kitchen items you would need for basic cooking are here: it has a couple of pots with strainer lids (so no need for a colander), plus deep-dish plates that can double as bowls, and mugs with lids. Add a couple of knives, a cutting board, and a set of cutlery, and what more do you need? You could even use the pots as mixing bowls and the mugs as measuring cups.
We also like the bright colors (plus, hey, it's color-coded — no mistaking your buddy's mug for yours around the flickering campfire) and we really wish that there were more kitchen systems like this one that were designed to nest together

I could see where this might be invaluable for studio/cottage living, we found them a necessity for camping & boating, now that camping & boating days are long gone I put one in the earthquake kit.

I thought this was great... until I saw the price. $160 on aluminum and plastic. Are you kidding me? These are not expensive products to make.
My camping set may not stack together, but it all fits in one container with all my other outdoor cooking needs and it ran me a grand total of $75. (That includes cups, plates, cutlery, cheap chef's knife, cutting board, seasonings, 1 pot, 1 pan, and a cast iron skillet.) For $160 I think I could replace my entire cookset at home for something a bit better in quality.
Yeah, it's quite expensive.
Otherwise, I'd be awesome for the disaster kit.
Here's a stacking set of bowls, a colander, a sieve, and measuring cups. It costs £35. I would love to buy it!
