We are quite fond of our travel mugs; we carry our favorite ultra-tight sealed mug to the coffee shop, on day trips, and lots of other places. This Fresh Traveler container is built along similar lines, but it's designed to carry your lunch or breakfast, not your coffee.
We saw this little yogurt thermos over at Uncrate and really liked the idea. It has a separate attached section for granola or fruit; you can grab your milk and cereal or yogurt fixings and eat them on the go.
Of course, we aren't sure if we'd want to pay $45 for this little affair — we are a little more motivated to use our own thermos for yogurt on the go! (Why haven't we thought of this before??)

Do you take yogurt with you for lunch or breakfast? What's your favorite yogurt/fruit/granola/mix-in combo?

Just checking that this can be used for hot food as well??? It would be great for oatmeal.
I just use a regular glass jar (Glasslock brand) to carry my yogurt parfaits to work for breakfast, but am considering keeping a stash of granola at my desk to add fresh when I get in so it doesn't get soggy during the commute. Fruit I find doesn't hurt from a bit of soaking in the yogurt.
Great idea. I usually eat my yogurt and granola at home, but when I'm running late I'd love a way to store them separately to eat at work.
I've been loving my granola based on Melissa Clark's olive oil version in the NY Times, mixed with goat milk yogurt and a compote of vanilla, cardamom, and rhubarb.
I eat yogourt with fresh fruits and granola every morning, I simply put yogourt and fruit in one container, and granola in an other, works like a charm!
Broken link, I think? It says "product not found."
