Making a garland using cookie cutters is the perfect way for the food-lover to decorate for the holidays. Cookie cutters have a little bit of shine, and they come in iconic holiday shapes. Here are a few examples:
- These snowflake-shaped cookie cutters via Shelterop make perfect decor hanging in a window. Look for holiday shapes on deep discount after the first of the year for use next year.
- The second garland, a DIY by Scattering Lupines, uses rustic old cutters and twine. This is a great way to find a new use for old cookie cutters that might not be used in the kitchen anymore.
- Melissa Michales of HomeGoods incorporated ribbon-and-cookie-cutter garland into her holiday decor in the kitchen. Strung along the backsplash, it's tucked out of the way and is a subtle nod to the season.

Martha Concrete Lam...

OMG!! I have always wanted to find a way to display my large collection of cookie cutters at holidays (and year round) (they live in a large wicker laundry basket)... It would be fun to do a tree with nothing but lights and cookie cutters. I am totally inspired!
