When we first spotted this schoolhouse transformed into home
, we were taken with the bedroom up in the attic. We're not sure how we completely overlooked this cozy kitchen until now:We love its lofted ceiling clad in wood and painted green. With black base cabinets and no uppers, the room is small but simple and open - letting it feel larger. The lime-y green and yellow accents against the more muted green ceiling is an unexpected but really attractive combination.
Any storage lost with no upper cabinets is picked up in stand-alone furniture like the buffet and hutch shown in the image above.
