A Pretty Blue Brooklyn Warehouse Kitchen

Kitchen Spotlight

This airy apartment sits in a top floor of a renovated 19th century warehouse in Brooklyn's Red Hook neighborhood. One of the owners, Nick Cope, is the founder of Green Painting, an eco-friendly paint business. So, of course, since paint is his expertise, you'd expect to find a lovely color in the kitchen! How pretty is that blue?According to this 2010 Green Tour from Apartment Therapy, the blue in the kitchen is "a mis-matched color by AFM Safecoat that [they] picked up from Green Depot in New York." Other than that, there's very little ornamentation in the kitchen, but it looks so welcoming, especially when you see the whole light-filled kitchen and dining room together.
