The presents have been wrapped, the cookies have been baked, and the stockings have been hung. The only thing you still need to do is decide on a drink for Friday's festivities. How about a Christmas sangria, with white wine, ginger beer, and apple cider?

Sangria is such a smart option for holiday entertaining because you can make a big batch of it a few hours before guests arrive, and then just pull it out of the fridge when you're ready to serve it.

This sangria has white wine, ginger beer, apple cider, brandy, pear and orange slices, pomegranate seeds, and cinnamon sticks. It's fizzy, refreshing, and festive. To make things extra special, rim the glasses with cinnamon-sugar before pouring in the sangria; it's a beautiful and delicious touch.
