A Rescued Kitchen in South Pasadena

Take a peek at this utterly loved kitchen that's been rehabbed by its occupants to function once again. The home, having sat empty for two years, is located in South Pasadena, California in an area called Caltrans, which had once-upon-a-time been planned for a freeway extension that never came to fruition. Putting love and time into their home, Fi and Livvy transformed this 700 square feet into a space that's warm and livable, and above all, theirs.

About their rescued kitchen from the Apartment Therapy house tour:

Biggest Indulgence: The kitchen. When we moved in there was only the sink and two small, corroded tile surfaces. I had to re-route the plumbing, lay new floors, paint, and build new countertops.
