The idea of leather drawer pulls isn't a new one, but in the kitchen? It's definitely out-of-the-box, and I love it! Here, in the picture above from Lonny Magazine, the inventive renters re-vampted their cabinet pulls for 39 cents apiece plus the price of a rivet. Read on for additional details.
Kristan Cunningham on how they warmed up their rental kitchen:
Our landlord provided a row of cabinetry from Ikea and the cheapest stove on the market. We built copper-and-wood shelving ourselves and swapped aluminum handles for leather ones I made—sourced for 39 cents apiece, plus a rivet. My favorite additions are the black baseboards, which were just $15 per section from Ikea. The contrast, along with the new handles, gives the cabinetry a custom feel.
