We've seen painted ceilings before , and it continues to be one of my favorite ways to detail a kitchen. The bright egg-yolk yellow in this photo provides a much-needed boost of color to the grey cement wall and the white shelves and dishes. It adds just the right amount of warmth to a setting that otherwise might feel a little too austere and industrial.
What do you think? Would you ever paint your ceiling yellow, or any bright color?

I wouldn't paint my ceiling that color, maybe something a little more soothing, but the looks is awesome, I love that they brought the color down the walls a bit, and it works well with the cement walls!
My neck hurts just thinking about painting the ceiling, but wow, does it look great! They did an excellent job.
I love the look, I love the idea. And while I hate my popcorn ceilings I have been told that it helps to diffuse sound. I have never had issues with my neighbors complaining of loud noises coming from my apartment and am unwilling to take the chance by taking down that popcorn just so I can have a prettier ceiling to look at.
Looks great! I love it!
Love!
We did yellow in an eggshell paint and we like the reflection from the lights on the ceiling!
It's pretty. My place has a lot of cinder block and concrete, and I've been using a lot of yellow and yellow-green. It's a good combination.
