A Place to Relax

We've talked about sofas, armchairs, and rockers at the dining table or kitchen table. All of which bring a little bit of comfort to the table. But here, we're looking at the separate issue of a relaxing place to sit in the kitchen:

Not at the table or at a desk. But a chair where you (or a guest) can just sit back and chat with whoever's making dinner, curl up with a cookbook to plan your next meal, or just sit and look out the window with a cup of coffee.

That's what caught our eye about the pic up top. That wicker wing chair looks like it's sitting there for one reason and one reason only: as a place to relax in a really nice kitchen. Notice how it's directed toward the kitchen itself. Not a table or a desk where you might sit down to eat or get work done. Simply facing into the kitchen space, waiting for someone to just kick back and enjoy. Do you have such a place in your kitchen? How often do you sit back and just enjoy your kitchen?
