Good pitchers are weirdly hard to find. I have bought pitchers — against my better judgment — that are too tall, or too skinny, or too tiny, or just downright ugly. But a good pitcher is also a very useful thing to have around: it holds a spray of flowers or jug of sangria, or just water for your evening meal. And it should look pretty doing so, like this Seagate pitcher — a practically perfect model from Canvas Home.
Here's what I like about this pitcher: It's fat-bellied and not too tall, sitting stable and flat on the table. It's generously sized, at 86 ounces, but not too tall, and not too wide, with a good pouring spout and a narrow opening (a smaller opening makes it easier to arrange flowers). Best of all, the handle isn't some eeny-meeny handhold, but an ample one for carrying and pouring.
And it's so pretty, with two soft, beach-inspired colors. This is a fabulous find and also a geat go-to housewarming gift.
