A Neutral, Efficient, 60-Square-Foot Kitchen

It's rare that glossy shelter magazines show anything but kitchens with multiple islands and sitting rooms attached, but occasionally House Beautiful comes through for us (remember this one?). We love the creamy, clean colors of this kitchen and the deep, luxurious sink they managed to include (see it below).

The deep, farmhouse sink gives a nice illusion of room without taking up too much counter space. There's also a slim range and refrigerator drawers, rather than a full standing fridge.

The open shelving keeps it from feeling closed in, and we love the mirror above the stove (you'd have to watch the splatters, though). Of course, these efficiently designed little kitchens usually have custom cabinetry, which is expensive, but it's nice inspiration for those of us in small spaces.
