Pasta is good all on its own, but sometimes we crave just a bit of meat with it. OK, maybe more than a bit — it's so easy to eat just one more tender, juicy meatball or add another scoop of rich ragù, chunks of slow-simmered beef or lamb falling to pieces in the sauce. If you're looking for a bit of meat with your pasta (or vice versa) here are 10 recipes to try: Five meaty sauces (duck, beef, lamb, and more) and five meatball recipes — each of them a winner, we promise.

Straw Mat from The ...

Yum. I have a meat CSA from a local farmer. He sent me some pork cube steak, kind of a tough cut made up of odds & ends. I braised it with onions, garlic and a jar of organic tomato sauce (just using up stuff I had around), and it dissolved into the most delicious sauce.
I made the lamb ragu recently for the first time and it was AMAZING! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!
I made the Rich and Meaty Lamb Ragù for a dinner last night. Had it in my crock pot all day. It was to die for. Yum yum yum.
