A Compact & Light-Filled London Kitchen

Kitchen Spotlight

Lolly and Tyler's London flat feels much larger than its 560-square-foot size, due in no small part to large skylights which let in a ton of light. We especially love how it looks in their compact but well-organized kitchen.

The flat was originally built as a carriage house, but it was later converted to an artist's studio (hence the skylights). The kitchen is very much in line with the couple's decorating style: "Classic clean lines with a hint of modernism," as they tell Apartment Therapy in this recent House Tour.

Lolly writes out recipes on a small chalkboard she keeps propped against the backsplash.

Neatly stacked cookbooks and a pretty tea towel add a little color to the otherwise black and white color scheme.
