Grilling out is great fun, but it doesn't mean you want to look at your grill every time you're enjoying your patio or outdoor space. We just have a utilitarian grill cover that's primarily for protecting the grill, but we'd go for this if money were no object:
Hidden behind two sliding barn doors, a grilling station is built into a shallow nook in the exterior wall of this home. It looks like it's lined with a durable material like stainless steel... nice. Here's one more view of the area, pulled back a bit to see its context with the house and patio:

And, voila! A view with the doors closed!

This makes me nervous for fires since it looks like it'd catch your house on fire REALLY easily (on the sides at least, where it's not stainless steal) or at the very least turn it black from smoke.

I see in the first picture what looks like an exhaust panel on the ceiling above the grill, so no worries from smoke! Very smart.
I'll bet that there is a nice greasy layer on the walls at the end of the summer, exhaust fan or not.
All I can think is fire hazard. When I think of an outdoor kitchen, they are almost always stone, bricks, concrete, etc... Never wood...
