A few years ago Adrian and Alison gut-renovated the top floor of an old Brooklyn warehouse. The whole space is beautiful, including the kitchen, which is a lesson in combining budget-friendly elements with a few custom details: the cabinets are from IKEA, white the concrete countertops are custom-made.
I love the black paint that surrounds the white cabinets, and the wood accents. It's striking, yet still feels very welcoming. And the dining room table? That was handmade from leftover scraps of butternut, bamboo, and oak.
