I'm always frustrated when I find a paint color on Pinterest or in a magazine that I love, but I've no idea what it is. You, too? I can try to match it myself with swatches and samples, but that's very tricky to get right. So, it's specifics for the win, people, which is why I'm happy to share that the beautiful deep green-black cabinet color you see above has an actual name: it's Avocado Peel from Martha Stewart!

I spotted this color in this recent house tour on Remodelista. As you can see, depending on the light, the cabinets look almost blue-black (the first photo) or have a stronger green hue (the above photo) — like avocados themselves! The owners of this kitchen said the following about their color choice: "Repainting the cabinets a dark green helped to warm up the existing Silestone quartz countertops."

Pairing it with brass pulls and handles adds just the right amount of old-world elegance, too!
