In my quest for beautiful, bold dining rooms, I'm always on the lookout for that one striking detail: an emerald green ceiling, for example, or a fabulous rug. In this dining room, the wall is clearly the standout. What a backdrop!
I've never shied away from black paint (clearly), but I totally understand how some people find it too much — too dark, too heavy. But when the black is cut with bright white stripes? It's graphic and modern, more crisp and less dense-feeling.
What do you think? Could you do a wall like this in your dining room?
