Lately I've gravitated towards light, non-white kitchens, and this Portland kitchen definitely fits that bill. How refreshing is that light blue beadboard?
The blue color — "Topsail" by Sherwin-Williams, if you're wondering — looks so fresh next to the white window frames, the sunny yellow dishes, and the warm wood tones of the Shaker-style cabinets and flooring.
According to designers Whitten Architects, the countertops and farmhouse sink are made from honed black slate. The charcoal color adds a little bit of depth to balance the lightness of the walls, but together the whole look is so welcoming!
What do you think?
