Taking up just 20 square feet, this circle kitchen promises to "rotate up to 180 degrees to give you a sink, microwave, and dishwasher" along with "the same amount of kitchen cupboard as any other middle-sized kitchen." Sounds kind of crazy, right? I thought so, too!
What do you think, readers...if you were tight on space, would you consider a circle kitchen?

I'd have to be *really* tight on space to choose that over a full size kitchen, but that being said... it's really cool. I'd definitely put on in my dream cabin the woods.
I love that. It would look perfect in one of those tiny pre-fab houses. If I ever become a stylish survivalist, this is how I'm gonna roll.
It actually rotates? How does the plumbing work with that? The electric too, but mainly the plumbing...I'm deeply skeptical...
I'm imagining the terrible kitchen that was in my 400 square foot studio in college. This would have definitely been better. At the very least, cuter and easier to hide messes in. It looks like they used the space very effectively, which I love.
It looks like something out of a 50s "KITCHENS OF THE FUTURE!" bit. It's adorable, but I'm with Brooklynnina - how does it work?
That is adorable. I agree with alicelost, it would be so great in a cabin!
Sorry, that's a nightmare. I cannot imagine how I could ever cook in it...there I am, sauteing away...and I realize that I need ______, but can't access it without spinning the whole room. Guess I should have planned better and gotten that out first...but where would I put it if I HAD gotten it out ahead of time. As far as cleaning up as you go - can't do that either.
This is a great kitchen for people who don't cook.
Tatterhood hit the nail on the head here -- a great kitchen for people who don't cook! It just doesn't seem to make any ergonomic sense.

The cabinet/counter space is nice, but you're giving up a full cooktop (this has only 1 burner) Not sure if there's an exhaust fan, either. Many NY murphybed kitchens have both.
if you check out the link it seems like the top and bottom rotate separately so the chances that you can't get "____" while you're cooking are reduced quite a bit.
and I believe the point is that it gives you more room overall when thats the only amount of space you have to begin with and CANT have a full size kitchen.
If there was an island or something in addition, that would be lovely. Plus, I like the idea of the kitchen not having any corners, with inefficient space tucked in.
I think it is cool! Love the color too! Circular Kitchen would be great in a studio apartment, city apartment, such as, New York, very small cottage on a lake which would be my dream getaway.
I'm *still*, hours later, trying to figure out how the plumbing and electrical work....
Very very neat!
Awesome! I'd guess that the sink drain goes to the center and has a fitting that rotates, and the water uses hoses like a washing machine or dishwasher, and heavy cables for the power. Since it only rotates 180 degrees, knotting the power and water shouldn't be a problem if properly routed. There are a couple of photos showing an additional wraparound with more cabinet space in the link that MHayes provided.
I am still so confused about the plumbing and electrical. How would the garbage disposal work?
Go without garbage disposal. most of the world does.
Okay, now I must know what a murphybed kitchen is. Pictures please?
It would be cool if you could have it without the curved wall attached. Then you access the whole thing.
I second the request to see a murphybed kitchen!
