Sometimes in a small, cluttered, or visually busy room, paring down the number of elements in the space can calm things considerably. That's why we loved this trick when we stumbled upon it: It takes two small and seemingly-haphazardly-place windows and unites them with a single, simple shade. The windows are placed at different heights, but the elegant roman shade simply lowers to the sill of the lowest window.
The overall effect is one that calms down what could be a chopped-up, disjointed wall. This is definitely a trick we're keeping up our sleeve for future encounters with funny windows!
