One of the things I'm constantly lamenting is the lack of serving pieces in my kitchen. Yes, I have pretty much every gadget and countertop appliance under the sun, but when it comes to setting out platters of food, well, I'm missing the platters. One of the reasons I've resisted is that serving dishes, based on how infrequently I use them, can be quite expensive. That's one of the reasons I'm excited about these simple, colorful cheese boards from Target's Threshold line.
Available in three bright colors, these boards only cost $15. They are food-safe so you can set your cheeses and chutneys directly on them. We also love that they have a hole in the handle so you can hang them for storage either inside your cabinet door if you're short on space, or on your wall to add a pop of color to your rental kitchen.
Now my only challenge is deciding which color to buy.
