Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

I have both the colorflame candles (which I bought from TJ Maxx or one of those stores) and the skinny candles (from Target?). The skinny ones look great on homebaked cakes with modern or minimalistic icing. The color choices are great too. The colorflame candles are cool and I appreciate the colored flames, but that's only because I KNOW what kind of candles they are. Most other people never noticed them unless I point it out.
Just bookmarked this candelabra holder today!

I lit this puppy up at a dark, quiet French restaurant in LA for my mom's birthday and the whole place went mad! Everyone was singing - BEST. CANDLE. EVER.
Those skinny rainbow candles are PERFECT. I am planning to bake the homemade rainbow ship cake posted here a while back and top them with rainbow candles for a "Double Rainbow" birthday cake, for my internet meme-obsessed boyfriend.
I love the color flame candles, and regularly use the tall skinny rainbow candles.
You didn't mention using sparklers as birthday candles; kids love those.
