My two favorite flowers are peonies and tulips, so come Spring I can't help splurging a little when they finally show up at the farmer's market. The peonies I bought last week (in a dashing shade of crimson) are still bright and blooming almost seven days later. I'm a notorious black thumb, so while I'd love to have greenery in my apartment at all times of the year, the sad fact is that most greenery doesn't make it very long in my company. So cut flowers, in their fleeting beauty, are my perfect companion. Here are few lovely Spring bouquets to inspire your kitchen and dining table decor:
What's your favorite Spring flower? Do you cut flowers from your own yard, or purchase at the market? Do you have a favorite flower arrangement?

Straw Mat from The ...

It wasn't until I moved into a house with an existing Peonie that I fell in love with them. I now have added 4.
But my fav of all time - Lilacs. Although I have a soft spot for snowballs too (just don't have the room).
Gorgous photos. Love peonies too but gotta say, the star of the show in pic #1 is the quince which at least deserves an honorable mention:) Thinkin they can't be real tho as they flower in a different season. Mine finished blooming 6 wks ago but interestingly, my fresh cut branches were displayed in a vase not dissimilar to the one in the pic. Like daffodils, they just scream spring!
I'd love to be able to get my hands on some daffodils AND lilacs at the same time. Beautiful combo. I grow both but the daffodils are long gone before the lilacs show their lovely faces. If all the blooms in the pics are real, that is one florist with some amazing resources. Doubt I could afford the prices tho.
